Vehicle inspections
Our service portfolio includes the determination and evaluation of the condition of vehicles / machines at a defined point in time before or after a transport. In less technical terms, this means determining the condition and / or damage of new or used vehicles / machines. In addition, the necessary measures and costs for repairing the damage can be determined at the customer's request.
Particularly when a change of location has taken place, the different risk of damage depending on the type of transport must be taken into account. We have been pursuing these activities since 1989 and therefore have many years of expertise.
Sea transport
Sea transport with deep-sea or feeder ships is the most common mode of transport from continent to continent or in the international vehicle trade. Special knowledge about loading and unloading processes, stowage conditions and load securing are incorporated into our vehicle inspections.
Container transport
Vehicles are sometimes transported by container on longer routes and in small numbers. Here, the loading and unloading process should be accompanied by experts. The damage control takes into account the conditions for container packing and unpacking, load securing and the use of suitable accompanying measures to prevent transport-specific consequential damage.
Rail transport
National and intra-European transport by rail or wagon is an established way of transport. The control routine includes whether open or closed wagons were used, route-specific features, and which loading and unloading systems are installed in each case.
Truck transport
Over short distances or for delivery to retailers, truck transport dominates the domestic sector. It is important here to focus on the transport routes, the type of truck and the common transport securing elements when checking these vehicles.
